Dr. Rothman has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in the School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies and in two Honors College Living and Learning Programs at the University of Maryland. She also serves as the Academic Director of the South Carolina Washington Semester Program. Dr. Rothman earned a bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s degree in Education from the University of Florida.  She also has a master’s degree in Theatre History and a doctoral degree in Theatre History and Performance Studies from the University of Maryland. She is an active community volunteer with a keen interest in civic engagement and public service.
