Get Ready for another CIVICUS tradition, Reverse Trick or Treat.

From 9-10:30 pm on Monday, October 23, and Tuesday, October 24, two CIVICUS Associates will visit every room in Somerset for residents to donate new, unused, and unopened personal toiletries that will be benefiting the Travis Manion Foundation, in exchange for Halloween candy.

No tricks, just treats.

What toiletries are needed?

Shampoo & conditioner
Soap & body wash
toothbrushes
toothpaste
dental floss
razors
having cream
hand & body cream
lip balm
deodorant
combs
hair brushes
Cotton swabs (Q-tips)

We are unable to accept donations of tissues or toilet paper.

Please be generous. Most of you probably have extras of some of these items in your rooms. Why not take a Target Express run this weekend?

We need four outgoing, enthusiastic & persuasive volunteers, two for each evening, to be the toiletries collectors and candy distributors. They will post/take down flyers and also utilize the Somerset Facebook page to remind folks about this activity. Each room in Somerset will be visited both nights.  (Please pick up the flyers Thursday October 19, 2017 from the CIVICUS office)

The team for each night will go together throughout Somerset and wear costumes.

If you have the Halloween spirit, enjoy visiting your fellow CIVICUS Associates, and can humorously and effectively motivate CIVICUS Associates to maximize donations, this is the service project for you! The volunteers will get credit for one service activity.

If you did this last year you may not do it again this year.
Please sign up by 12 am, Wednesday, October 18th, 2017.
You must be a resident of Somerset to volunteer because of building access.

CIVICUS Associates who do not live in Somerset may bring your donations to our offices by 5 pm, Friday, October 27th.
