DC Bilingual Public Charter, a Title 1 Spanish/English charter school in Ft. Totten serving students PK3-5th grade, seeks volunteers for its first Fall Harvest Festival. Organized by the school's Parent-Teacher Committee and Family Engagement Team, the festival will feature food, music, and family activities.
Volunteers are needed from 10am to 1pm to support arts and crafts tables, specifically pumpkin painting. For volunteers with Spanish-language skills, this is a great opportunity to put those language skills to use! (Proficiency in Spanish not necessary.)

The project is located within walking distance of the Ft. Totten metro stop: you can either take the 104 UMD Shuttle from Regent's Garage to the College Park Metro Station, then take the green line toward Branch Ave and get off at the Ft. Totten stop, then walk (approx. 5-7 min) to DC Bilingual, 33 Riggs Rd NE. OR you can take the F6 bus directly from Regent's Garage to the Ft. Totten Metro Station. From there, walk (approx. 5-7 min) to DC Bilingual, 33 Riggs Rd NE.
